ELEVATING READING EXPERIENCES
Introducing "Antagonist"...
Upon the first flicker, Star Anise, Sweet Orange, and Bergamot leap forth, as sharp and intoxicating as a villain's cunning. It's an aroma that captivates, as complex and mesmerising as a plot twist, the first inkling of a thrilling story about to unfold.
Venture deeper into this aromatic intrigue, and you're met with the heart of the tale. Iris, Black Licorice, and Raw Honey weave together in a harmony as mysterious and enticing as the antagonist's allure. It's the scent of temptation, a tribute to the villain's path - a dance with danger and deceit, underscored by the sweet lure of power.
The saga draws to a close with the grounding presence of Amyris, Cedarwood, and Sandalwood. These base notes are the antagonist's solace - the quiet satisfaction of a plan well-executed, the lingering echo of chaos, the comforting darkness after the climax. It's the scent of victory and defeat intertwined, of stories whispered in hushed tones, of a journey marked by ambition and audacious determination.

FAQs
How long should I expect my candle to last?
With proper care:
- 3.75oz jar is approximately 20-25hrs
- 8oz jar is approximately 40-45hrs
- 13oz (double wicked) jar is approximately 45-50hrs
Why does the 13oz candle last around the same amount of hours as the 8oz?
The height of the 13oz candle is just a bit more than the 8oz version. The significant difference comes in it's larger diameter. This creates a larger melt pool, resulting in a superior fragrance throw.
Why is my candle making a crackling sound?
That's just part of the charm of a wooden wick. When the candle is lit, the moisture in the wood heats up. This causes it tor reach a boil emmitting steam and causing that soothing crackle.
I've never heard of a wood wick. Can you explain what it is?
Traditionally wicks are made from cotton or some variation of. The issue with them is they can be flimsy, making it difficult to keep them up straight while making the candle. Over the years, many (not all) manufacturers started adding small amounts of heavy metals (zinc specifically). These of course release into the air when burned. In the recent years manufacturers have found better non toxic ways to deal with regular wicks but we prefer to just keep it simple. Wooden wicks are made from real wood, so they're natural and clean burning. They also have that magical crackle, so they're the winner in our books.
